Hi fellow Vette nuts. Can anyone tell me the lowest known original mileage '57, and '60 Corvettes? If there are museum pieces out there with very low mileage, whare are they and what is the mileage. Also interested in privatly owned lowest know mileage cars of these years. I have been contacted concerning two very low mileage Vettes, and would like to know how these compare to what is known. Thanks, g.

Re: Low mileage original '57 and '60 questions
George,
Asking which are "the lowest known" and expecting an answer in 6 hours is asking a lot. Odds are, the "lowest" ones are hidden away and not necessarily well known, and the owners don't visit here.
If you would like to inspect a low (?) mileage 57 or 60, I'd just ask for that. Better yet, ask if anyone knows of any Bowtie or other unrestored 57 or 60 cars that would be available for inspection and/or discussion with the owners. Or, hire someone with extensive 57 and 60 knowledge to help you.
I'd say that if the ones you found have more than a few thousand miles on them they probably don't qualify as "the" lowest. There are definitely ones with under 10,000 miles.

Re: Low mileage original '57 and '60 questions
Patrick, thanks for your reply. I guess I just supposed that there were quite a few "known" low mileage vettes in this community, and wanted to know the apx. range of "low". The 60 FI car has 14,015 miles, and the '57 2x4 car has 2,810 miles. Thanks again, G.- Top

Re: Low mileage original '57 and '60 questions
The 57's mileage is very low, and the 60, while not likely the "lowest" is still very low. They sound like nice cars.
Remember that only about 15% of NCRS members visit here on a regular basis, and not many of that in a 6 hour span. So while a lot of knowledge is here there is also a lot that is NOT here.
