My wiper door actuater works fine but, really looks ugly. I have been suggested that Eastwood makes a golden cadmium "paint". Anybody know about this system? Any ideas? Thanks

The Eastwood system is paint that you spray on in three or four stages. It does not look good at all. There is a guy in Houston who does gold cad or iridite plating, but his name escapes me at the moment. I'll check my garage to see if I have it somewhere. Maybe someone else on the board knows of him also.- Top

Brent,I found the info. His name is Dave Resheske and his business is called Dave's Corvette Restoration Service. It is located in Clear Lake City Texas--outside of Houston. The number is 281 488-7813. I have no connection to him other than he rebuilt and replated my wiper vacuum actuator a few years ago and it still looks and works great.- Top

I have bad news, I called Dave Resheske today and was told he had passed away last month. The nice lady that answered the phone stated that word had not got around in all the corvette circles. I advised her I would inform those here. Thanks, Brent- Top

Brent,
Dave refinished my pie pan actuator and my spare service Holley carburator 2 years ago for my '70.He did an excellent job.I had some very lengthy enjoyable conversations with him as we are both enthusiasts.
We all will miss him.
