    C3 Over Spray on Wires

I'm detailing the front of my '69 and most of the headlamp, side marker, and fiber optic wires have some over spray on them from 2 paint jobs. Is it safe to use lacquer thinner on these wires? If not, suggestions are welcome.

Yep, you can wipe 'em down with lacquer thinner! While you're at it, the most common malady on Shark cars for non-uniform intensity of fiber optics is the tips were left 'swinging in the breeze' while the painter worked on the car allowing overspray to 'clog' the stranded tips. So, feel free to pull the fiber optic pickup ends and make sure they're paint free!

Yes, and if that doesn't do it careful application of stripper will.
