1966 Big Block Hood Grills

Hi guys
I tried to install a new set of 1966 big block hood grills from Paragon corvette parts I also bought a set of screws from them for the grills but the head markings are not the same and they are longer then the 2 screws that came off the car. But I did not know if they are original. I called long island corvette and he has the same screws as the original so I ordered a set and they are the same as the 2 I have but they are to short for paragon grills.
The treads for the screws start deep in the hole of the grill for the screws. Tell me I am not the only one this stupid stuff happens to. So dose any one know ware I can get the right screws.

I find very few repro parts that are correct, as original. You are NOT alone. I never have been able to figure why most parts aren't as easy to make correct as wrong.
