    '66 TRANSMISSION I.D. TAG

    My '66 L79 has no I.D. tag on one of the transmission side cover bolts. Am I correct in assuming it originally did have one, and that it would have been stamped #3880853?

      Rob -

      I believe the 3880853 tag was used on '66 L-79 with M-21, and 3870354 was used with L-79 and M-20.
