Could someone please help me with identification of wheel cylinder date codes? My car is a 62 it has on the front brakes casting number 5450527 and 5450528 they are 1-3/16" bore,dates are k250,are these correct for the car? The rears are casting numbers 6450649 with no casting dates on them, they are 1" bore. If so I would like to rebuild them, any recommendations? they have a slight bit of pitting inside.Thanks for the help.

5450527-528 Casting is correct for non HD '60-62 Corvette, 1" bore is correct for the rear, but I have no casting nmber for them.Bill Clupper #618 -

What you have is correct. They apparently didn't change the casting date because I've seen a snootfull of them with the K250. The 649's had no c asting dates on them. Get those redone--they're the originals!Comment
