People at park city asked why did I have the front and horn emblem on my 55 Corvette which was crazed a little when I could have put a new one on like the other Vetts.
I told them I like the real original parts that came with the 55, even tho they may be a bit worn till I can locate a better real part.
These horn buttons is the difference , mine on the 55 is better then the one on the right but it's the real original horn button , the left is the reissue GM button as is the front emblem is also, which looks the same.( Like the reissue hub caps that didn't have the recesses for the flippers)
The obvious difference is the right black and white flag. where as the first real design had more back and less white in the flag that came on a new Corvette, where as the second design or reissue shows more white and less black in the flag.
When some one repro'ed them they copied the reissue ones and not the original ones. No big deal to JM but just info I thought may interest some one. I mean people talk about over spray painting.
