Re: I'm a greenhorn and need your help!
re i'm a greenhorn and need your help jack humphrey much good constuctive advice has already been posted now i'll add put away your wallet and get a grip on your enthusiasm there are bargains every day so cool your jets join a corvette club ncrs is good but make sure to join your local chapter and get active while it sounds simple what do you want to do with the car it's like the old stock market addage buy low sell high both are easy to think you understand them but not all that easy to really live use any all resources as sounding boards to really answer the question what do you want to do with the car while you're looking for the answer to what corvette should i buy you'll find the answers to both questions really do change as you study and learn once you buy one you can restore it show it drive it compete it and enjoy it and some of these aspects have a degree of mutual exclusivity understand the subtilities by hanging around those who have 'em to better internalize what it means to you as far as restoration preservation a ' shark is a labor of love in my book due to its plurality of one year only running changes i'd rank it up there with ' and or a ' fi car if i wanted a high end driver that i could enjoy and show ocassionally i'd look at ' because a things got a tad more stable b they built 'em for years and c care and feeding is easier cheaper while the excitement factor is pretty much on par with '- Top
