A copper bubble top "55 with A/C, GPS, and a Satellite radio hidden under the dash.
    and
One old duff, cleaning Washington mud off his '62 black walls.
    and

Just got back from the Utah meet, drove all night , the day time temp. was 107 for any one leaving in the day time.Great meet, great people and 15 55's were there. Judging was hard "Bert Lukens" here was even judging my oil weight and color and din't even notice my Bubble Top. All the other judges were great people made me feel vary glad to be there. My wife and I are trying to wine down right now and will cover the meet for you later.

I just got back from Park City. This was my first NCRS event ever. It was great. People were so friendly and I got an idea of what judging is like. Beautiful cars, great people, ideal setting. Roy Braatz even let me sit in his lawn chair. Also, congratulations to Joe Lucia. I AM HOOKED......Bill B.

          Yeah, I met Roy too!

I expected an old geezer that owned a car that old would be in a walker, but ol' Roy looked pretty trim...He maybe, possibly, could be younger than me (Nah)...But, he's been around Corvettes a whole lot longer. (Enjoyed meeting you, Roy...keep amusing us whippersnappers with those off-the-wall options. Don't pay any attention to Dipstick. )

Speaking of Dipstick, did any of yawl see that getup he used to introduce Dick Gulstrand? Scary, man...I was torn between curious interest and revulsion.

Hi Roy, good to finally meet you. Hope you enjoyed the meet.
Actually, everyone noticed the bubble top.
Most commented on how hot it must be to ride in not realizing the A/C.
104 was hot, no matter how low the humidity was.

                Re: Seen at Park City

No I don't have AC , but PB, we left at 7PM just as the awards dinner started and drove all night to beat the heat. Sorry for the people leaving in the day time , heard it got up to over 100 temp. We stopped at Nevada to loose some money and while doing so, some one keyed our L/F fender ( isn't that nice?) the 55 ran like a clock all the way there and back. We don't know if our 55 got any flight award and if it did as in Berkeley , it shows members that your Corvette can have accessories and get a flight award.
We were the only ones (55) to drive our 55 and where did they put the 55 , why on cement , not grass , so we had to clean the oil leaks up each day we drove out for dinner and EVERY ONE had to tell us we had an oil leek , 112,000 mile on the original engine DAAA! But this was another of the best meets we've been to as the people were great. I met guys I only known from e-mail. Every one loved our accessories EVEN the judges WOW!
When I played the horns ( See the USA in your Chevrolet) we did get noticed. Women loved the Bubble Top and color (copper) guys liked the trailer , which would give them more room to carry STUFF.
I judged the 53 to 54's HOT 7000 feet up and HOT (5) in all , I will never see that many 55's again in one place and each 55 owner was also glad to meet and talk. Thanks NCRS for a great meet .

                    Ditto!

If you want the National Top Flight ribbon, contact Roy Sinor and pay the standard special handling fee for S&H. If you don't want it, do nothing and your Flight Certificate should come via mail without charge. Yep, it WAS HOT, but anywhere else nearby was even hotter and we MISSED you at the Awards Banquet!
