1958 w/ 30 amp generator; I forgot to repolarize the generator after a body off resto and drove the car ~150 miles before the battery got weak and the electronic ignition cut out. I checked the gen. according to the ST-12 and it passed the "on the car" tests. The voltage reg failed the test. I am replacing the voltage reg. Do I need to repolarize again? Thanks, Ken
