I want a set of wheels to mount radials on and leave my bias tires at home for judging. Can I get almost any chevy 15" rim or is there something specific to use? Or do I have to buy another set of factory wheels? Thanks for any answers to where I can go for help.

Re: 66 wheels??
You have to be sure the wheels have a 4-3/4 inch lug pattern. Many 15 inch Chevy wheels use a 5 inch pattern. These were from the big Chevies, vans, 1/2 ton pickups, etc., and obviously the most common.
The 4-3/4 inch come from some Chevelles, some Camaros, Monte Carlos, etc.
If you want to avoid the hubcap and the potential loss while driving, go to a '67 Rally wheel or several aftermarket, like the Cragar SS, Torque Thrust gray center, or Minilite, depending on the color of your car.- Top

Re: 66 wheels??
Is there any current year cars, which are still sitting in junk yards, that I could pull from? Or do I have to find a yard with a yard full of say 70's cars?- Top

Re: 66 wheels??
Recognizing that midyears are pretty intolerant of rim widths and offsets and tire sizes that differ much from the OEM specs, you should try and stay pretty close to the '67 15x6 rally wheel, which has +.06" offset (which is about the same as 3-3/8" backspacing). There are lots of Chevy wheels that will bolt up to the hubs, but not many will have a width and offset that will keep you out of tire-rub issues.- Top

Re: 66 wheels??
I recommend you buy a set of repro '67 6" Corvette Rally wheels (0.060" offset), which are guaranteed to fit over the disk brakes - not all wheels of that era will.
They are reasonably priced, you can mount your OE wheel covers, and they will accept a set of high speed rated 215/70R-15 tires (which match the revs/mile figure of the OE 7.75-15 bias plys) without fender interference (buts it's tight).
