68 stearing wheel

anyone know where I can get an original or repro stearing wheel for my 68? The car came with a 65 teak wheel and I am currently offering it for sale to a guy who needs one. I am goona need a new wheel for my car when he makes the purchase. Thanks

There is one on ebay for a $0.99. It will go up in price. It is pretty nice looking, no cracks. Terry

I'm pretty sure the steering wheels used in '67 were the same as used in '68.
So that should help with expanding your search a little.

I'm pretty sure the 67 and 68 wheels are different. They show two different part numbers in an old parts book and I believe the difference was the surface of the plastic. The 67 had a grainy texture and the 68 was smooth.

Each year got smaller. '67 was largest, '68 smaller, then '69 smaller.

You really don't want one too big in a C3, especially a '68 since the seats are higher.

I should have checked first. The '63-'67 were 16", the '68 was 16", and the '69 was 15".

My thoughts after checking was tht the depth of the wheel might be different, but the '63 and the '68 both measure 4" from the top of the rim to the top of the mounting face.

I could have sworn I'd read the '68 wheel was smaller. Believe only half your read, I guess.
