I have a 66 427 with factory air. I have seen some valve covers with an indent on the front edge by the compressor mounting. Was this on all cars? Should I be looking for a correct set of covers or just the right side?/?

Bill - this was a mid year production change. From what I understand, somewhere around November 65 and prior the AC dent was in the right cover. After this change, the covers and not dimpled. All cars got the cover, whether they has C60 or not. Expect to pay BIG dollars for a set whith the dimple....Craig -

My car was built around dec. 22 1965 (66 car) so it would have been without the indent even with the air. Correct?Comment

I have a Dec 17, 1965 (approx) 427/425 and it has both the dimple and the flat spot for the power brake booster.Comment
