    61-62 SPARE TIRE

    Can anyone tell me where to get an orignal type tire to fit in the spare tire well with the plywood cover on top correctly? What size would it be? Also,When new,was the spare tire also a wide white wall like the other tires on the car? Thank you.

      Corvette Central sells tires. Try them.

          All the repros will be too wide for the cover to fit correctly. Yes, it should match the ones on the ground.

              It was a 6.70X15. A used or NOS tire is the best bet for a proper fit. They show up occasionally at Corvettes at Carlisle.

                  I have four real originals that are %50 good Black walls that will fit if interested 670x15
