I need a recommendation for a shop to repair my speedometer and tachometer for my 60 Corvette. I am looking for a reasonable turnaround time. Corvette Specialties of MD. told me 10-12 weeks. Thanks in advance.

Re: C-1 Gauge Repair
Don't use Corvette Specialties of MD! They did a tach for me. It was way over the quoted price and I wasn't happy with the quality. They were very arrogant to talk to and didn't seem to care if they got any more of my business.- Top

Re: C-1 Gauge Repair
I posted a tach rebuild guy I used recently and now I cannot find it in the archives.
This guy did a great job for me. A bit older and therefore knew a lot about my old 62 setup since he had done a few. He even recalled what it took to remove the tach from my car down to every screw and nuance(vent handle gets in way of screw) w/o even seeing my car.
If you are in Michigan you should stop by his shop since he is a collector of all kinds of stuff that is all so neatly displayed in his large old service station (huge collectioin of 3in1 oil type cans for instance).
