    C-1 Gauge Repair

I need a recommendation for a shop to repair my speedometer and tachometer for my 60 Corvette. I am looking for a reasonable turnaround time. Corvette Specialties of MD. told me 10-12 weeks. Thanks in advance.

You might want to call Rick Stotler in Joppa, Md. He was formerly with Corvette Spec. of Md and has gone on his own. 800 651 1270.

Don't use Corvette Specialties of MD! They did a tach for me. It was way over the quoted price and I wasn't happy with the quality. They were very arrogant to talk to and didn't seem to care if they got any more of my business.

I posted a tach rebuild guy I used recently and now I cannot find it in the archives.

This guy did a great job for me. A bit older and therefore knew a lot about my old 62 setup since he had done a few. He even recalled what it took to remove the tach from my car down to every screw and nuance(vent handle gets in way of screw) w/o even seeing my car.

If you are in Michigan you should stop by his shop since he is a collector of all kinds of stuff that is all so neatly displayed in his large old service station (huge collectioin of 3in1 oil type cans for instance).
