C3 - SB rocker lock nuts

Can these lock nuts be reused ? I'm setting the lifter preload and they are geeting hard to tighten, one hand socket wrench and one hand to "twirl" push rod.

Yes, the rocker nuts can be re-used, although not indefinitely. However, as they approach the end of their service life, they get EASIER to turn, NOT harder. When they get "easy to turn", the nut and/or the stud should be replaced. As long as they're "hard to turn", they're probably ok.
