    c1 fuel line feeling hot

in my 57 single four the steel line running from pump to carb. filter gets hot when car is running so hot that is difficult to keep my hand wrapped around it,
it that o.k. some have said that if gas gets to hot, car may vapor lock and some have suggested placeing some type of rubber hose or else around this length of line, so should it get that hot and does degree of hottness bother anything thanks

Average person temperature of 110 deg or so is painful. If not vapor locking don't worry about it.

Check the archives Paul. I think Clem or maybe Roy talked about the WCFBs doing this on a R/H turn. Something about the gas getting into the choke tube or ???
