    C1 Rear Door Window Channel

To make a long story short, the holes through the door that hold the rear channel on the left side were glassed in because of wear and enlargement of the holes. It's a '58. Question, how do I accurately re-drill the holes in the fiberglass to make sure the channel is correct for the installation of the refurbished side window? The right door still has the correct holes. Do I make a template of the right side and then reverse it to mark the left side? I hate to start drilling holes and end up with Bubba's signature.

    David -

I'd make a template and flop it over - they were designed symmetrically.

      John,

Thanks for reaffirming my gut instinct. A template it will be. Sure glad there are people like you on this Board that can give, been there, done that advice.
After nearly four years, I hope to get my '58 on the road in a few weeks for some cruisin' fun.
