Re: C-3 Side Window Rear Weatherstrips?????
Thomas-----
Well, you have another option available to you if you so choose. It so happens that the weatherstrip you seek is still available from GM. It's under the same original part number that was used in PRODUCTION, too.
These are as follows:
GM #9761483----left side
GM #9761484----right side
The bad part is that this weatherstrip is likely going to cost you a LOT more than that which you obtained from the other sources. Each of the above carries a GM list price of $186.53.
Is this weatherstrip exactly the same as that which was originally used in PRODUCTION on your car? I don't know. It should be, but I can't guarantee it. One of the reasons, though, that GM weatherstrip is so expensive is that it is usually of VERY high quality and identical to what was used in PRODUCTION.In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: C-3 Side Window Rear Weatherstrips?????
There are at least two manufacturers of the mentioned weatherstrip. One is a rather hard rubber and one is supposedly the same vendor that makes GM. The GM will have a "made in Canada" maple leaf decal on it. Another source for this weatherstrip would be Corvette Rubber. If you call them tell them that you want the "soft" weatherstripDick Whittington- Top
