For so many of you who have helped me with the restoration of my '64 Roadster I'm tickled to report that it is about 90% complete and, having driven it around the block, restoring to original close ratio and 3.70 rear is going to be great.
My remaining problem is with the bedding of the windshield. There is a local glass man who recited his procedure which agrees with that described in the service manual.
I know that this question was discussed within the past several months but I have been unable to bring the thread out of the archives. The glass man uses a product call Trim Tite. By his description it sounds OK but he has a limited supply.
I'm hoping to do the windshield once and not have a leaker. When I got the car it did not leak. Taking it apart it was loaded with non-hardening light brown caulking.
What is the best product available? Thanks for your help.
