I own both a '69 (round tips)and a '70 (square tips). I am trying to figure out just what kind of measurement or length position is correct before tightening the clamps to hold these on. Both the '69 & '70 AIM's show all other measurments around the bezel for fit except for the correct distance it is to stick out under the bumper. Can someone give me an idea of what measurement, say from the outer lip of the bezel to the very end to the exhaust tip should be? Are there any cars out there with original exhaust and tips that we can get a correct measurement from? I am looking for measurements for both the round tips and the square tips. Thanks for the help.

Re: C 3 Exhaust tips
I have a 71 LT-1 convertible with 30K miles--St. Louis-original exhaust in place. I measured at the body seam (where the rear underpanel joins the rest of the body.) From the rear edge of the body un-shaped bezel to the edge (rear of upper lip) of the exhaust tip is 1 1/4" on the right side, 1 5/8" on the left side. Hope that's helpful!

Re: C 3 Exhaust tips
Thanks Mike for the quick reply for the square tiped measurement. Anyone with any input of the '68 / '69 round tip measurement?1967 L79 Sunfire Yellow Black Leather Convertible- Duntov
