front sway bar

need outside diameter of front sway bar for the 90 thru 95 ZR1's. I'm not at home to measure off one of mine but have opertunity to purchase what is being said to be a "larger" bar. thanks, mike

I put a "competition" front sway bar on my '56 around '60'-'61.The OD of this bar is 1". Hope this hlps, Regards, Jim

I believe that ZR1s used front bar GM #10165301. If so, this is a TUBULAR bar of 26 mm OD and 3 mm wall thickness.

The bar used for cars with HD suspension (ZR1s did not use a full HD suspension; some components were and some were not) used a SOLID 30 mm bar.

joe(and duke). which bar( 30 vs 26mm) bar would you guys use in the 41 willys with c-4 front susp for autox purposes? mike

I don't have an answer for this one. However, I think that my inclination would be to stick with the front bar that "matches" the rest of the suspension that you have on the car. If the current suspension is a "mish-mash" of parts, then I don't know what to do.
