mid-year speakers

welcome back ncrs the best people in the world (i missed you!!!!!) my question is this where and how do you add after market speakers to a 1964 roadster without cutting out the interior? I have heared about the kick pannels and some type of after market raised kick pannel? Does anyone have any speaker tips for the drive compartment?

I have had 12 inch coaxials in the back, 4x6 at the tool compartment, etcetera. What works are headrest speakers - they sell slip on sets now. I put two Sonys in each of my Recaro seat headrests, and two 4 inch 75watt Cobra coaxials behind the top action shields. With that combo I can hear the sound at 85mph with the top down. - Dave

I put 2 4" coax speakers where the original dash 6X9 was and to 8" 3-ways in the jack board, which can easily be replaced.
