    #3367 ACCELERATOR PUMP CAM POSITION

The Holley #3367 specs call for the #2 position for the accelerator pump cam. Does that mean the screw goes in the #2 hole?

Re: #3367 ACCELERATOR PUMP CAM POSITION

    Rob,
From the tech book I have, the screw does go in the #2 hole. I rebuilt my 3367 recently and I am happy with the performance. From an earlier post I will pass on that I did determine that my secondaries are working properly with the help of you and other members, thanks. Back to the accec pump cam. After looking at mine, I found out mine is set on the #1 position. I am going to try the different setting to see how it effects my performance. The holley book I have also touches on different cams and accec pump discharge nozzles.
What is wrong with your carb?

      Frank,

Now that I removed the "check ball" from the secondary housing, the carb secondaries are operating properly. When I saw the Holley specs called for the #2 cam position I though I'd check mine. The screw is in the top, or #1 hole and wondered if that was correct. I ordered a secondary diaphram spring kit that I thought I'd experiment with and see which gives me the quickest low end acceleration. Just to make sure I understood you...the cam screw is on the top hole on yours?

Both the plastic cam and the throttle bracket have more than one hole. When they say #2 position do they mean the #2 position on the throttle bracket and still use the #1 (top) hole in the plastic cam?
