Door lock for 62 vette

Hi all

I need some info. I have one door lock and a trunk lock. I am looking for another door lock and bezel.. Both the trunk and door lock have the same number on them, 8901. Is that correct for the door and trunk locks to have the same number on them? Are the door locks made as left and right side? Or are they the same.How do you tell left from right? Does anyone out there have a door lock with bezel for sale.I guess it won't matter if the numbers are different as long as the lock is the same. Or does it matter? I will have them all keyed alike.

Locks are the same--on the back, the tanged plate which has the hole for the lock rod goes in from the left on one and from the right on the other, but it is simply a matter of prying it off and turning it around. Keep trying to call my cell phone (not during the weekend--I'm pastor of a church of 7500, with 5 services, weddings, etc. every weekend). I have extra locks and bezels VERY reasonable.
