87 Corvette Third brake light

Does anyone have the instructions on how to replace the bulbs in the 3rd brake light on the 87 Corvette convertible?

Bill, I assume you are talking about the CHMSL, if so, you can find it in the body section of the Service Manual 10-39. It says:
1. Open the rear Compartment lid.
2. Remove the attaching screws.
3. Turn CHMSL assembly over.
4. Remove screws holding lens assembly in place.
5. Pull bulb(s) from socket.

HI Art, no I'm talking about the middle brake light or 3rd brake light on the convertible. There is no deck lid to open.

Bill, I'm sorry, I looked at the coupe--dah! It is called a chmsl, not a 3rd brake light and you are going to love this procedure!
Here is the convertible:
1. Remove filler tank door assembly.
2. Remove fuel tank filler cap.
3. " " " " housing and drain hose.
4. Install fuel tank cap.
5. Remove license plate.
6. Remove two 10mm stamped nuts through upper body panel.
7. Lower lamp assy and remove through license plate opening.
8. Disconnect electrical connection.
9. Remove screw from back lamp assy.
10.Push rubber grommet into housing.
11.Change bulb.
