Recommendation on Vehicle Transport from CA to MI

I have a friend who needs to get a car shipped from Los Angeles, CA to Rochester, MI. What carrier is recommended? The car is in need of restoration so an open carrier is OK. He is looking for the best price and reasonalble service.

I also recommend Intercity Lines (1-800-221-3936). I've used them multiple times to transport vehicles from Los Angeles to the Bay Area, and have always been very satisfied. They use fully enclosed transportation, and provide door to door service in a timely manner.
