why cant the NCRS have a award like the sportsman, but instead of that name use the names of the head of styling the 53-62 car could get a Harley Earl the 63-72 would get a Bill Mitchell then the 84 cars Jerry Palmer an so on.

the award woudl be the same as the (Sportsman) you drive the car ect.. get points for each meet after so many points you would get a plaque whith the name of the designer

just a way to honor the designers, an get menbers to drive the cars.

One problem is the award is given to the owner not the corvette and he could drive corvettes of all the years to get the award. An owner could use a different corvette at every meet if he had that many. Lyle

The Sportsman name is good because it says what it is ( A sportsman who get out and ruffs it) Or DRIVES his or her Corvette.
