    Judging sheets, NCRS or Bloomington?

Thinking about preparing my car for bloominton. Is there anyone that would share a copy of the bloomington sheets, either email or fax. I have the Ncrs and would like to study the Bloomington. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help.

just curious and having never had a car judged...do the judging sheets show more info than say the Corvette Information Manual and Judging Guide. I'm noticing that the guide doesn't give you All the info you need to properly determine if a part is truly correct to restore my car with. It more or less usually just touches on some of the things the part should look like. I've lucked out most of the time, but I have gotten a part a couple of times thinking it was correct, only to find of latter that it's not even close. Will judging sheets go a little more in depth?

They both judge the same areas but you need a window sticker at BG. It is the only extra thing you need that I can think of. Lyle

        Bill,

Bloomington will send them to you if you ask.
We did this for my friend's 84, and "pre-judged" it before he went.

In terns of more detail" the JG is worlds ahead of the Scoring sheets in terms of what to look for, but a level of experience still helps..

As Clup stated, the TIM & JG is light years ahead of any info on the judging sheets. The Bloomington sheets are of less detail than the NCRS sheets. BG depends on the judge to think of all the things under a catagory, while NCRS has items listed to "tickle" the judges memory. Buy the JG from the online store if you do not have it.

Remember that you have to have a 95% score at Bloomington to get the Gold and the NCRS Top Flight is 90%. In other words you nearly have to score Duntov numbers (97%) at NCRS to get a Bloomington Gold. Also, originality is king at Bloomington. Then again, maybe Burroughs is king at Bloomington. Maybe NOT!

                  Jack,

Really? Did they change some time ago or was it always that way. Glad your always there to correct me!

                      Reba,

"Senior Moment", I just strive to be conscious some of the time and BUT 94%. No way! If I'm just conscious 90% of the time and my wife gives me a blue ribbon. That's it! 90% conscious and I get a blue ribbon for Top Flight!

                      Regards,
