Wanted: 68 Gas lid emblem

I am looking for an NOS (not repo) gas door emblem for a 1968 Corvette. I am doing a research project in this area and I need an NOS emblem for reference. I wish to purchase this emblem outright. My research will hopefully result in an article for The Restorer.

The part number I am looking for is: 3926487

Ed, If I remember correctly isn't the 68 emblem on the gas door as well as the hinge peened together? Are not the replacements a 69 style, held on with hardware?

Yes, the current replacements are of the "post-and-nut" attachment. These are GM #3957809. However, the part number that Ed provided in his post is the original 68 part.
