Hello! The interior on my 70 is green metalic. The interior T-top panel are warped on the inside edges, they have pulled away from the velcro fasteners. They are in perfect shape except for this problum. Has anyone ever straightened these panels out? As most of you know it is difficult to get a perfect match on the colored type interior pieces! Also does anyone have a line on a 70 drivers side interior door panel NOS green metallic? Thad LeJeune #32187 Thanks

Re: Warped T-Top interior panels - Me too
I have the same problem on a 69. Fortunately mine are black, so I don't have it as tough as you. I was thinking of using a steam iron or something similar to try to get it back in shape. What about taking it out and laying somehting heavy on it to straighten it up?
I'll be looking forward to the answer- Top

Re: Warped T-Top interior panels
Hi,
I had the same problem on my '73 coupe. I took the panels off and with padded blocks underneath and bags of sand on top, 'bent' them in the opposite direction. I let them sit in a warm place for a few months like that and they actually went past being flat/straight and were temporarily over corrected. I re-attached them and they have been fine since. That was about 5 years ago.

Re: Warped T-Top interior panels
My 70 has the same problem with one of the inners. Apparently a previous owner pull without care and warped it. I try to heat very carefull to avoid damage, with no results. Later I tried to combine heat and some pressure, with only modest correction. I'm still thinking... Roberto, NCRS #30019, RMC- Top
