New Server Good News

I was able to sign up with a new host server last night, 02/15/00. I will be working hard to get everything moved again, and setup.

I hope to have everything running and ready to go by Saturday. I don't have the address just yet. I will post it here when I get it ready to go.

As you know cookies will be gone until they are reset. Watch http://www.ncrs.org / at the Discussion Board Link for any news that I have to report.

Thanks to everyone for your patience and support. Hopefully this host server will meet all of our needs for a long time to come.

Hang in there John, The end is in sight. Most of us know computers well enough to know that some times these problems take on a life of their own and can't be easily resolved. We're lucky that you don't give up easily as this is too important a forum to lose. Thanks Rich #2276

John, we've never met but I want to thank you for what is probably a thankless job you have undertaken. As a relatively new member to NCRS, this board is invaluable. John, MANY MANY Thanks. :) I see the URL link is back too. And what's this check box for response notification I'm seeing hidden at the bottom??? YIPPEE! That's a wonderful feature to have!

I know that all this must be frustrating especially for you but your efforts are very appreciated. If it weren't for this board I would have never joined NCRS or come to appreciate the fun one can have figuring out all the details while restoring a vette. Heck, for that matter I'd probably not have had the confidence to get one in the first place. :) ~Juliet

That is exactly what I hoped that the Discussion Board would do over two years ago when I first thought it would be a good idea. You and many like you joining the NCRS and enjoying the experience is what the NCRS is and always has been about.

Unfortunately the time that we have to interact with one another at meets and events is very limited. This forum brings us together to enjoy the experience every day if we want, or only when we have a real puzzle, if that is what we want.

I am really proud to be able to be the facilitator for this great group of guys and gals. I appreciate the support of all of you and the National Board of Directors in their quick action to get our server problems resolved. I hope and pray that we have found a home for a long time to come.
