Source for '62 vacuum tank mounting bolts?

Does anyone have ideas/suggestions for approximating the 10/24 x 3/4" mounting bolts that are supposed to be integral with the washer vacuum tank mounts for a '62? I got a nice tank and valve and am trying to figure out which fastener to use. I presume that I need to start with a round head bolt, which will involve minimal amounts of grinding to get the flat round bolt of the correct length. Then I need to weld them to the tank mounting flanges? The fragment of the original I have sure looks welded, but perhaps it's just corroded together? Is there another trick to replicating the look of the '62 mounting bolts?

Welded is correct, I would start with a hex head bolt and you will have a better chance of getting the thickness of the head correctly configured.

      Hi guys

I have to disagree with you about the bolt being welded. I accidently broke a bolt on mine from over tightening. I got the rest out with a punch. It seems that they are pressed in. Mine is a 62 vette also.

      Good luck....John

I thought they were 10-24 carriage bolts, i.e. round head, square neck for the square hole in the integral bracket. NesPa?

The little bolts have flat thin heads that are pressed in a round hole. I found that out after knocking the one I broke out with a punch.
