Anyone know where i might find someone with these for sale (NOS or nice clean take offs). I bought one side recently that is GM but the glass color looks more like almond than the grey that the rest of the front clip is...looking for R&L in the grey glass. Thanks this is a great site.

You are probably looking for half of a needle in a haystack, if you want real originals. Probably the only way to get them would be take offs. There are many differences between the original and any over the counter panel that GM sold. The almond color would be very correct for anything but a very late car. The colors varied from white to gray during the year, with many parts scattered throughout. I would be interested to see the new one that you found. -

Mikie, Sure ye have just forgotten. Early 65s were all white just like 63s. Later they went to gray. I had a later one in here a while back that was all gray except for some white bonding strips. I have a clip out back that is all white. Sure you aint gone color blind?Comment
