Though the assembly manual show the same bracket used to support the fuel filter on the 390hp as the small block, for the life of me I can't say it fits right on my 390hp. Does anyone have a 390hp with the fuel filter and bracket they could tell me how it attaches? Something doesn't seem right. Thanks in advance. Terry

Mine is a reproduction fuel filter bracket and doesn't fit very well either! I'm interested to hear from others about this. -

My car didn't have one and there was no sign of it. Maybe it was removed? I bought a repro and it didn't fit worth-a-darn either. Without the bracket everything seems tough enough like it wouldn't be needed, sort of redundent. The assembly manual does show it but I have learned that the manual is not always totally correct.
