    C2 Holley 4150 jet size

The correct Holley 4150 carb on my 65 L78 was rebuilt by the previous owner. The car runs great, but I noticed in looking through receipts that he put in #72's in both primary and secondary. Other then reduced fuel economy is there any downside. I know Holleys tend to run rich.

Bill, It is a list #3124 which I believe had #70 primary and #76 secondary originally.

You are correct, 70-76 is the suggested jet, 72 all around was fine in the Z-28's for performance but too small for a BB. You will be too rich at cruise and too lean at full power, poor mileage and poor performance both as compared to the stock jetting.
