    Bumper installation

I am attempting to install new bumpers (fiberglas) on my '75. When I got them from Ecklers last year, the front came with a "tech" sheet which explained the installation process. The sheet was only somewhat helpful! The rear bumper came with nothing. My assumption was that the rear was pretty straight forward and a "tech" sheet wasn't needed. I am in the process of installing the rear bumper, but it doesn't seem to want to line up...almost like it's hitting some part of the framework. I've seen some retrofit parts that will say "discard this part since it is not used with the new part". I'm wondering if there is something attached to the rear frame of the car that's preventing the new bumper from fitting properly and that should be removed.

Any ideas or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

I had to take the shims out from behind the metal bumper and lower it. Also the black fiberglass behind the tail lights you don't use.
