    N-11(Off Road) with 67 300hp?

    Dear Members,

I see in Noland's Guide Vol. #2 that half of all "off-road" systems in 67 came with the L-79(350hp). There are various other models mentioned with N-11, but not base models. I DO see that the N-14(Side exhaust) came with the base model 300hp. It seems that N-11 and N-14 are a little similar as both seem to be performance related.

I want to add the N-11 system with the less-baffled mufflers to my 67 coupe. As of yesterday, I acquired my original #042 and #559 manifolds. I'm hoping to pump out as much power with the stock exhaust system. Thanks!

    Justin-----

For 1967, all Corvettes used 2-1/2" exhaust systems EXCEPT base engine with Powerglide. While the exhaust system for small blocks all had 2" outlets, the exhaust pipes and mufflers were 2-1/2". The off-road N-11 system was available with all engines. However, I don't think that it was available with base engine and Powerglide. It was definitely available, though, with base engine and manual transmission, either 3 speed or 4 speed.
