I must admit that looks a helluva lot better than what the engineers at GM designed. However, the State of Texas currently has a bill on the table that could eliminate the front plate in the Lone Star State. I hope it passes. That being said, we currently have a "no rear plate frame" law that prohibits hiding any portion of the plate's graphics. I've spoken to several friends and neighbors who have been pulled over and cited for having frames that obstruct the license plate state's name. Interesting........because if you can't see the "Texas" name, you should be able to tell it is a Texas plate by the state's impression painted in the center of the plate. Last time I checked, no other state's outline resembled Texas!!! Just another easy way to generate revenue.

Front plates just don't look good on any vette. Makes me glad I live in Indiana. We don't even change our clocks for daylight savings time, let alone worry front plates!

California is starting to enforce the front license plate law - with more and more traffic light cameras to "nab" people that "run" red lights - the front license plate is needed to identify the registered owner.

it is funny in the state of Texas you can have a antique plate. an you only get issued one so I put it on the back. my friends that drive the new cars that dont use a front plate dont get stoped,, an most time it is just a warning ticket . if they do pull you over.
