    What is the problem when a C1 Carburetor is

    leaking fuel into the primary venturis when idling at 500 rpm and how do you fix it. Thanks, Jimmy

      As Jim mentioned, check your float level. Also, while it's apart check the float as it may have a leak. Take it out and rattle it and you can tell if there's fuel in it. Also check the seat and valve that the float controls for a hunk of dirt or rust which keeps the float from shutting off the flow of fuel.

        you may need more timing at idle because you may have the butterflys open too far to get your idle speed
