I have a box stock 1965 327/365HP engine and I'm trying to figure out where the vacuum advance hose is supposed to connect on the stock holley carb. I see a plug in the front metering block on the passenger side. No hook ups on the base plate? So this would be ported? What is correct? Thanks!

It is manifold vacuum, and it comes out the side of the metering block on the pass side, look at the diagram on sheet 4 of the assy manual for an illustration. If you don't have it, email me of the board and I'll send you a copy.Bill Clupper #618- Top

My original carb is off being rebuilt but as I recall there is a special fitting that goes between the metering block and advance fitting. If you have a Paragon catalog look in there as I believe they give a good description and picture.- Top
