Some sunvisors have about a 1/2" metal clip on each side, near the swivel mounting bracket, and some have one about 1". Did these vary by supplier, or are is only one size correct for original '66 sunvisors?

My original early '67s have metal bands that are exactly 3/4" long. -

Rob,
Possibly you are looking at original vs. repo. visors. I have my original '63 roadster visors and the clip is about 3/4". On the repo's. its noticeably shorter - about 1/2".
