1956/1957 Racecar Can you identify?

Bill's eyesight (computer?) is superior

to mine. Given his observations (assuming they are correct), that would seem to make this 1957 Daytona Speedweeks - the 57 FI cars were there and also, out of nowhere, appeared one of the 1956 Sebring cars (the halibrands) in private hands.

I just looked at the picture again...the 57 FI in the foreground ain't no racer. Not with ignition shielding and windshield washers. No airbox, either. My guess is a VIP car of some sort.

The darker car next isn't FI - no indication on the cove (as seen through the FI car's windshield) AND wide whites...yet it has the hood taped and appears to be missing a grille tooth.

The back passenger car appears to be a 57 Chevy sedan of some type.

The car I believe to be an SR-1 or Sebring car appears to have a 56 Rhode Island license plate. That might help to be able to track which car it is. (Thanks, Kize, for the help!)
