Joe, What I do is to type it in the word processor (WordPerfect or MS Word), then when it is correct I just cut and paste it into the message box. Reason I started doing this is for the spell checker since I am the worlds worst speller.

A Whiter Shade of Pale.....

What white screen? Mine's gray. I've been using the cut/copy and paste too. I seriously doubt we can control any influence over the blanks until the server is fixed. It will eventually happen over and over again until then. TBarr #24014

Another way is to highlite your message (depress the left mousekey and draw your cursor over the text) after its been composed and use edit, copy, to store it on your notepad, then try sending the post... if it fails, you should then be able to bring up a word processing or editing program and paste the message into a document (from your notepad) to save it on disk and/or paste it into a new post.
