Anyone have information as to the optimum distributor advance curve for a 67 - 427 - 390hp? Motor has never been rebuilt.

Factory spec for a 1111247 '67 dist is 0@900, 8.5 at 1250, 17 at 2000, and 32 @ 5000, all crank degrees and crank speed. Vac advance is 0@7 inches vacuum, 12 @ 12 inches per the '67 service manual. That would be a good place to start with today's fuel.Bill Clupper #618- Top

If you decide to purchase a reproduction vacuum can, make sure to test it. I had one on my machine this week with a brand new reproduction can and the vacuum point where it started to operate was off by 50% (too high) Not the thing that will give you the "driving experience" you would like.Bill Clupper #618- Top
