who has built their own rotisserie for mid year

Hello all, has anyone out there builot there own mid year rotisserie? if so, how did it work out? would you do it again? any chance of apssing on the plans or dimensions? thanks in advance

Hi Tony:

A good friend's father in law built a nice one that he has had a 36 Ford and then an early Nova on to date. I don't think he really had any plans, (he is a very talented fabricator) and he just built it as he went. I've only seen it once and it seems like it was 1 1/2" square tubing on the frame. He also welded a SBC auto flywheel on one end of the rotating assembly and made a crank with a Chevy starter gear on the handle to turn it over which was very slick. Sorry I don't have a digital camera to take some pictures of it, it's not all that pretty buy very functional.

Do you still have those burnout pictures? I remember those from the old Discussion Board.
