    Holley Rebuild

I have heard tell of a lot of good places to have a Holley rebuilt and recolored. Any recommendations on who I should go with, if I want my car running by June 24th.
    Thanks in advance,
    Harold

It may be too late in the season to get that kind of turnaround out of the recognized 'pro' restorers... Typically, they're the 'Maytag Man' during the winter months and as soon as it gets to be show time (after January), their backlog builds pretty crisply!

You can check the archieves for who recommends whom, but the two solid standby restorers who specialize in Holley are Bob Kuntz and Jerry Luck. Typically, my May, you'll find 'best efforts' from these guys with 'maybe by the end of the summer' turnaround quotes.

      Harold,
I had Jerry McNeish of Z28 Camaro do my Holley carb, intake manifold and valve covers on my 327/350 L79 and have been truly impressed with the quality of his work. He communicates very good and is reasonably priced. Check www.z28camaro.com and see if he can help you out.

          Harold,

Here you go, ask a question and up pop several names for you to call. I have
one more for you. Contact Phil Cancilla @ Custom Rebuilt Carbs 732-356-4333
          ( thecarburetorman@aol.com ).

          He restored my 69 L/78 Holley, 69 L/34 Rochester, and my 69 L/71 Holleys.
He does superb work and I highly recommend him to all. His turn-around is far
better than most. He stands behind his work. I expect that he can return your restored carb to you in the timeframe you described.

          Good luck!

          Steve
