I need to purchase a 67 frame (new of recondition), my vette is from Ohio and has alot of rust. I heard that Vette Products of Michigan's frames are of poor quality. The only other place that I have found on the web is America's Finest Corvettes. They want about $4300 for a reconditioned frame. Does anyone know of any other places to get a frame or have opinions about America's Finest or Vette Products?...........Thanks

Re: 67 frames
Eric,
I recently searched and priced a 65 frame for a project SB car. Bought a couple and should have viewed them first. Wont comment on some of the people who sell by EBAY etc. I found the "new" ones were mostly C3 frames modified for C2 mounting requirements. If authenticity is paramont, you may want to look closely. They most likely will be a sound replacement if #'s are not important though I saw where some offered stenciling. All are pricey! Reconditioned ones can be a good way to go and will compete price wise. Shipping is another cost factor to consider though it would appear that you have no option if you want to buy one. Remember that the earlier C2 frames are different from the 65 and later. No problem if you dont have a BB or care about authenticity. If you want to contact me by email, I may be able to provide some addtional information I wished someone would have given me a few years ago.
Good luck...Jack W- Top
