NCRS Magazine Value?

This post is for an older friend who no longer owns or restores Corvettes. He has a collection of the NCRS Corvette Restorer Magazines up to Volume 14, No. 4. The only missing issues are Vol. 1 numbers 1 & 2 but he has a couple of supplemental issues for Vol 1. He would like to sell the entire collection, each volume is in the correct NCRS 3-ring binders. If anyone has an approximate value for the collection, please let me know. He is a great guy and has owned some very nice Corvettes at one time or another but now is too old to enjoy restoring them. Any replies would be appreciated.

A complete set of the Restorer, V1N1 to present, sells for APPROXIMATELY $3,500.00 +/-. The Vol. 1, N1,2,3 usually sell for about $300.00 each, IF you can find them...originals, not the "unauthorized" repro's, the N4 for about $125.00+/-. The V2's sell for $85.00 to $100.00 each. Hope this helps. Don't give them away. I would take a stab that this set is worth at least $1500.00. Chuck

Take a look at ebay completed items. A collection recently sold for $250+ that appears to be less desirable than your friends.
