'65/66 RIVETED ? Steel Wheel

Check out all views on this eBay item; click link below (it's not mine); 15 x 5-1/2 JK, with contemporary KH stampings, and a "12" month date. Seller could probably also find a year stamp of 64 or 65.

Was always under the impression that steel wheels were all of welded construction (center to rim); and not only on Corvettes.

Wayne - Just looked at some as old as 11/64 (thought I had one 8/64).

Also looked at some dated much later, from service, not OEM.

Anyway, none have rivets. Someone should ask the seller for a date (I mean, a date from the wheel...)

The 1965 Chevelle optioned with Z16 came with the riveted design wheel according to Alan Colvin's Chevrolet by the Numbers 1965-69. The JK wheel mentioned is also listed for the 1965 Corvette.
